DeSmuME 0.9.11 released!

In this version, we have focused on the Cocoa frontend, but there have been some good core fixes over so long. Notably, the save-related issues resulting in the advice “dont use 0.9.10″ have been resolved.

Head on over to the download page and check it out!

Also, don’t post bug reports or support requests in the comments. It’s a terrible venue for that, and there are other places specifically designed for it, such as, say, the support forum

Turn on JIT (dynamic recompiler) for HUGE speedup:

  • For Windows users: in main menu, choose Config -> Emulation Settings, check “Use dynamic recompiler” or add to command line “––cpu-mode=1″
  • For Linux users: add to command line “––cpu-mode=1″
  • For Mac users: In the Emulation menu, choose Emulation > Show Emulation Settings. Then in the Emulation Settings panel, select Dynamic Recompiler. To keep JIT as the default setting, click ‘Save Settings as Default’.

WiFi not emulated and not supported!!

We won’t make a 3DS/2DS emulator.

Is 0.9.11 really based on r5146 as indicated in the readme? If so, what about the problem fixed in r5152?

    • zeromus says:

I’m pretty sure that commit was in. r5146 was when the release branch was made. You can check our svn for what was merged after: including r5152. Of course, you can’t know completely for sure when the build was made, but uhhh I’m sure this fix made it in or else we would have heard more by now.

hey has the slot 2 thing been fixed that lets you use a gba game to unlock or add stuff to the ds games like if i want different Pokemon to show up by inserting a gba game using the option ?

also can you trade using pal park or no ? :P
